About Jason
Captain Jason runs his self-titled company out of Anna Maria Island, Florida on a 26-foot, Yellowfin fishing boat. He has been fishing professionally for fourteen years. He started fishing at a young age in-shore from kayaks, as his father owned a kayak company. Captain Jason appreciates the simplicity and quiet of kayak fishing for access into shallow areas. He has lots of experience with all types of fishing and has competed in several tournaments, placing in the FLW Red Fish Tour. Due to the demand, Captain Jason has centered his focus on off-shore fishing, targeting a wide variety of species to include, Snapper, Grouper, Tuna, Redfish, Kingfish. He also offers ‘Bucketlist Charters” to hunt for specific, larger species like Permit, Hogfish, Amber Jack, Tarpon, and Tuna. Captain Jason’s calm, positive approach and knowledge of the sport will put you at ease and put you on to snag a big fish.
Summer Tarpon Trips : Trips are available May-August! Fishing for Tarpon in the Florida summer is a spectacle to experience. These aerobatic fish offer one of the most exciting and challenging fights in the area. A half day charter can lead to a great catch, while a full day offers the most opportunities for an unforgettable experience. Summer time tarpon trips for larger parties, I will have a first mate on the trip. Near Shore / Reef Fishing Trips (15-30 miles) :
These charters can include a range of highly sought after fish in the Gulf of Mexico, including some great eating fish, depending on the time of year and what’s biting. One one of these charters, we could target anything including Grouper, Snapper, Hogfish, Kingfish, Bonita, the occasional Cobia or Tripletail, and much more.
Half Days are ideal for a shorter trip out, while a Full Day offers the best opportunities and the ability to hit multiple spots.
Half Day : 1 Person : $700
Full Day (8 hours) : 1 Person : $1100
+$50 per Additional Person (s) – limit of 6 clients

Extreme Exotics – (30+ miles) : This is the ultimate trip. We can take full advantage of the speed and range of the 26′ Yellowfin to cover multiple spots, or get out to spots that are out of range for the standard charter, and target some bucketlist species, such as African Pompano, Wahoo, Large Gag Grouper, and Queen Snapper. Let me know what species you would like to target, and we’ll plan the day.* This type of charter can be a memorable, unique team-building experience for company trips out of the office, and business retreats.
