Hurricane Ian Relief Effort

The South West region of Florida was heavily impacted by the fury of Hurricane Ian, in the process it has left millions of Florida residents with out power, many others displaced from their home due to evacuations, some residents lost everything they owned, as the death toll is still being assessed and now over 100. Port Charlotte and the Ft Myers area were primarily affected by the eye of the storm, there is an estimated 50 million dollars + in damages. We would like to call to attention the volunteer efforts made by Capt Bill D’ Antuono in Naples who lost everything in the storm, stepped up to help  regardless of his loss, he still focused on how he could help others in his local community with housing efforts, managing a collection point to resupply those in need with food, water, and fuel. Capt Billy Norris in Ft Myers that has opened up supply routes to areas hard to access with out a boat and maintained resupply with water, fuel, and generators, assisting with transportation to and from. Capt Brock Horner in Charlotte Harbor assisting with search and rescue operations helping get to flooded areas to help find survivors and helping coordinate collection points for donations as well as helping coordinate efforts to help feed hundreds of people. Capt Jack Carlson and the Two Conchs crew made it North from the Keys to assist with the cleanup and operational efforts. Capt Eric White and Jon Noland have been putting the 40 ft fishing vessel to use by helping haul resupplies to areas that were not accessible by boat. Due to the bridge that collapsed that connected Sanibel Island to the mainland, their efforts were instrumental is helping bring supplies and caring for those that had been most severely impacted by the Hurricane. We are very proud to be partnered with such exceptional individuals that arise to the occasion when needed. Thank you to all the local businesses and community leaders  that have come together to make sure that we get through this together. Capt Bill started a fundraiser that has 100% of the funds going to those that were impacted by Ian, please consider helping rebuild our local communities that make Florida such a unique Vacation destination and beautiful place we call home.
